Teaching our children about God and His love for us is important here at Delphi Methodist Church. We host several groups for kids ages 3 years to 5th grade to encourage them to begin their own relationship with Jesus and start building relationships with each other.

Explore Our Children’s Programs.
Responsibly caring for the children who participate in our programs is important to us. All of our volunteers are required to complete a background check and to attend child protection training sessions along with updated training every two years.
Grow Kids
Curriculum specially designed to teach kids about Jesus through engaging activities and lessons. Come see some of the series we’ll be exploring this year.
Nursery
Staffed from 8:45 – 11:45 am on Sunday mornings, the Nursery is open for newborns to 3 yrs old. Children will spend the morning with loving adults who will engage with them in songs, stories, and snacks.
Growth Point
A fun and relaxed setting, kids ages 3 through 5th grade can play in the treehouse, sing songs, and hear a message about God with their friends.
Children’s Church
Offered during our 10:30 am service, kids have the opportunity to hear a Bible story, pray, have a snack, and play some games. For ages 3 years through 3rd grade.
Grapple
Geared for 4th and 5th graders, Grapple meets twice a month to explore and grapple with a variety of topics facing preteens.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 22 – 25, 2026
(Monday -- Thursday)
6:00 pm – 8:30 pm each night.
For kids aged 4 -- entering 6th grade.
It's FREE!
FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE
Join us Saturday, March 14, 2026 for an amazing night for girls and dads/grandpas to dress up and have a date with each other. We provide a great meal, memory photos, and a DJ to dance the the night away. It's worth every penny! Look for more information in February.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING
S.A.F.E Training Mission.
We require all individuals volunteering in Children’s and Teen Ministries to complete our S.A.F.E. Training. If you are training for the very first time, please complete the four steps below.
All volunteers retrain every two years. If you are retraining, please complete steps one and two unless otherwise notified. We appreciate you and your willingness to continue serving our children and youth!
Step 3
You will receive an email asking you to click a link to fill out an online background check through Trusted Employees. DO NOT PRINT, as we receive the results digitally.
Step 4
You’ll be given a packet containing a few more documents we need you to fill out for our records. Please return those in a timely manner. Thank you for taking the time to be trained and for serving in the children’s and teen ministry!
